DEFINITION
According to the James Lee: “The lecture is a pedagogical
method whereby the teacher formally delivers a carefully
planned expository address on some particular topic or
problem.”
“The lecture method refers to the teaching procedure involved
in the clarification or explanation of the students on some
major area.”

Introduction: Introduce the subjects in such a way that it catches
the attention of the audience immediately , creating curiosity about
what’s going to follow next. It usually last 3-5 minutes.

• Body of the lecture:It covers the content in
an organized way. It includes many more teaching
procedures than in introduction and conclusion.The
body lays emphasis on the presentation of the
content.

Conclusion
• Helps the teacher summarize and re-emphasize the
key points of lecture and also get feedback from the
students. The teacher can motivate to the students
to ask questions by focusing their mind to specific
points. Students can also clarify their doubts.
