Due to the recently publicized incidents of Sexual Assaults in the U.S. military, please review the U.S. Army Japan Commanding General's memo on the Sexual Harrassment/Assault Response & Prevention program.

Sexual assault is a criminal offense and has no place in our Army communities. Our Deputy Commander, Command Sergeant Major, and SHARP Program leadership will review and revalidate the selection, training, and credentialing of all Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and Unit Victim Advocates in Japan and will redouble their efforts to train and educate the entire Army workforce.
