  2. 2. What do people like<br />Light & portable (Kindle) <br />Compact<br />Ability to include own PDFs and documents<br />Touchscreen & notes on the Sony<br />Kindle Store is good<br />Good battery life<br />Easy to use<br />Saves carrying print books around<br />
  3. 3. Issues<br />Too expensive<br />E-ink only available in black & white<br />Clunky menus (BeBook, Sony)<br />Formats Amazon uses proprietary ePub<br />University e-books cannot be downloaded to e-readers<br />No bookstore (BeBook)<br />Core texts not available<br />

Brief findings<br />Preference was for both print and electronic<br />Functionality issues with different devices for different users<br />Not enough content to preload devices for loan & time consuming<br />Provide more netbooks instead<br />Use iPadfor roaming<br />Feedback info about e-book availability of reading list titles to academics<br />
