  2. 2. Hypermedia :is a style of building systems for organizing, structuring and accessing  information around a network of multimedia nodes connected together by links . Hypermedia is not constrained to be text-based. It can include other media. e.g., graphics, images, and especially the continuous media -- sound and video. Apparently, Ted Nelson is the first to use this term.
