  2. 2. Project description: <ul><li>The portal is a gateway of e-services offered by the Omani government agencies. Services are structured in a live event model of the visitor, and this makes navigation easier. </li></ul>

Objectives <ul><li>To empower the general public with information and services from the government at their convenience and comfort, and at affordable cost. </li></ul><ul><li>To facilitate ease of access by structuring services based on a ‘life path’ and a ‘life event’ strategy for delivery through multiple electronic channels </li></ul><ul><li>To achieve full integration of eServices, by implementing the required cross-agency connectivity and a inter-agency governance structure via the transformation of public sector internal and external relationships </li></ul><ul><li>To take effective measures to ensure its adoption amongst the community by constantly upgrading the ease of access to such information and services </li></ul>
  4. 4. Participants: <ul><li>Residents and citizens : serves everyone in who require government services in different fields including regarding personal affairs, immigration, health, education, culture or entertainment. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Cont. <ul><li>Business: serves the business community by offering electronic services related to investing in Oman, starting a business, trade related documents, free trade zones and relevant policies and regulations. </li></ul>
