  • Hook attention grabber: Story of child without a father and the important’s of have one.
  • Hook attention grabber: As a kid growing up I always felt like something was missing I was different from my siblings in so many ways from my eyes to my size my dad always showed me love but I just didn't feel the connect and one day I ask my mom why and she told me I had a different father than my siblings.
  • Which hurt and confused me in so many ways that I started doing things at school and home that where wrong not respecting my step dad lashing out just all around bad but as I got older I realized who my dad was and swore to always take care of my kids and teach them the real values of life no matter what.
  • The Big Idea: The Fatherless Child: The Importance of Having a Father. Is so much needed even if the dad is not able to be in the home.Because some of us dads have baby moms who just want the dad to give money instead of love and time to our children when thats is the true need when being a father.
  • : What’s in it for your audience? Explain why your topic is important or worth discussing. A child is very important as a child growing up without my father around had some effects on me even though I had a step dad who showed me what a father should be and how important It is to be apart of your children's life even if its in different homes.
  • Why should your audience listen to you? Explain your ethos (personal experience, expertise, and credibility). The audience should listen to me because I have had personal experience of being a fatherless child, I am the father of four children, and I used to be an Preschool teacher.Growing up without my real dad was hard I acted out a lot just to get attention.
  • Call to Adventure: Being part of your child’s life makes a difference whether living physically in the home or in another city it is your job as a dad to be there for your kids who care’s if you and the mom don't get along you have to find a coming ground for your child.
  • Call to Adventure: because no matter what your relationship is like it only hurt’s your kids no one is perfect but when it comes to your kids you have to try to be.
  • Supporting Point One: Having a father present in a child’s life increases the likelihood of graduating from high school and college and decreases the number of teenage incarceration.
  • Preview the three main points that will support your big idea.Having a father in a childs life, keeping them safe, and teaching them the rules of life.
