Being and Becoming a Technology Leader on Campus Hosting Technology Tuesday in the Library Presentation by Neil Krasnoff DISD Librarians Summit, August 12, 2010Summary: Technology Tuesdays began last year at Woodrow Wilson HS as an informal and social wayof promoting ongoing professional development on classroom technology use. As the facilitator of thisgroup, the librarian needs to bring new ideas to the table that will be of interest to teachers.Additionally, it helps if the librarian uses technology in an innovative way within the library, as ameans of showcasing what is possible. This workshop will demonstrate how librarians can learn aboutnew tools from colleagues and thought leaders from around the world, and spread them to the teachersthey serve on campus.Multi-tasking is encouraged during this presentation!
