  22. 22. 4 Characteristics of Excellent (and HAPPY) Managers 1. They remind themselves that the important things are rarely urgent, and that urgencies are rarely important. 2. They know what’s important and what’s not. 3. They know the difference between a time expense and a time investment 4. They have the discipline to consistently plan for, and DO, what’s important.
