Trent Wachner is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Trent earned his Ph.D. in marketing at Washington State University in 2008. His research focuses on marketing strategy, sales force effectiveness and the governance of boundary-spanning interfirm relationships. Prior to academia, Trent spent over 10 years in industry focusing on industrial technology. Trent held positions in outside sales and strategic marketing for Lucent Technologies’ largest service provider customers including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, British Telecom and China Telecom amongst others.
