  3. 3. About WTSO: WTSO (Wines Til Sold Out) is the bestselling eCommerce website for wines in US continent. It sells wine at 30%-70% off original retail prices.
  4. 4. Client requirement: The client has an initial requirement of building a simple ecommerce site and they wanted to globalize within the US territory. Our approach: The website is being designed, developed and maintained by our team with admin and backend control and 24/7 L2 support with one hour response time. We have a dedicated team for the site maintenance and we are managing this site for almost 3 years now. Initially it was a simple ecommerce site however gradually many new modules were added to enhance the functionality of the site to provide ease of use to the customers.   5. 5. Difficulties faced: Before the development of the WTSO site, the client had a site named Til sold out for selling their wines. The problem they faced is with speed issue of the website and during cheap stake (i.e. marathon) the site was unable to handle the huge traffic. Solution offered: We have overcome the problem by introducing load balancing using cloud servers. During marathon we manage the huge traffic by distributing the load into 3 different cloud server. We create the cloud networks from the starting of till the end. The duration of the marathon has substantially increased after the successfully implementation of the load balancing. The client’s sales revenue runs into millions during these cheap stake.

Benefits: • The load of traffic is well managed using the cloud server. • During code refactoring /code revision extra resources are added to develop the new modules so that the dedicated team is not overloaded and the ongoing work does not get hampered and there is smooth transition in adding the new functionalities. • During the initial stage they had a sales figure of about $20,000, which is around $100,000 by the mid of 2012. Also during marathon they sales figure runs up-to $770,000. • The duration of marathon has subsequently increased a lot which enables the client to earn huge profit.
