Impact on Student Teachers <ul><li>‘… it has been extremely beneficial to be involved in the Diplomas and to gain a better understanding of how they work as they will be an integral part of education in the future. Also, it has helped me develop professional relationships’ </li></ul><ul><li>‘ It has helped develop my own knowledge of the Diploma and has also allowed me to help create information that may benefit a young person in the near future’ </li></ul><ul><li>‘ I was surprised to find that the average literacy and numeracy of prisoners was Level 1 – I was shocked that people could get to that age and not read or write. Surely the school system had seriously failed these people if they lacked these basic skills’ </li></ul>
