  3. 3. As a Consequence.As a result, approximately 80 percent ofSonys targeted 330 billion yen of group-wide cost reduce for the current fiscalyear end of the March 31, 2010compared to the previous fiscal yearhave been achieved in the first half ofthe fiscal year.
  4. 4. Furthermore.Now, Sony is positioned to launch asuccession of competitive products fromthe end of this year. This is also meansthat Sony become a quick, leanerorganization which is more responsive tothe market.
