  1. 1. Finnish cuisine is mostly cooked in Finland, but some finnish meals are also cooked in Sweden and Russia. Traditional finnish cuisine is based on the local raw materials. They use a lot of rye, oat, barleycorn, dairy products, blueberries, cranberries, fish and meat. Besides of the usual beef and pork meat, they also use reindeer and elk meat.
