Today's assignment asks students to answer questions about where they are located and how to get there from various places, and provide short summaries of two theories about how humans first arrived in North America - the land-bridge theory and coastal route theory. 2. Students will read passages from their textbooks in pairs, looking for evidence supporting the land-bridge theory and reasons for the coastal route theory and Native American stories. 3. They will then turn in two Twitter-length summaries - one explaining the land-bridge theory and one explaining the coastal route theory.
