  2. 2. Project Overview Energy 2.0 will become the principal social media hub for exchange among energy sector leaders and stakeholders. It will serve as a launching pad for informed debate both on the platform and wherever the discussions will be re-broadcast on the social web. Parta Dialogue A company specialized in managing Dialogue, industry-level social media portals is producing and level managing the portal and its broadcasts broadcasts. A: Everyone in the energy business To reflect the full picture of energy worldwide today, we want stakeholders from the oil, gas, alternative, coal, hydro and nuclear sectors to participate. B: Everyone who researches and debates energy issues Researchers and public interest groups are welcome to contribute and comment. What is the involvement of the WEC 2010? •WEC Montreal 2010 has partnered with Parta Dialogue for the launch of to provide Congress speakers and partners an opportunity to express their views about energy to a wider audience through social media. • The decision to participate is entirely up to each and every participant, and is of no consequence to the scope of the Congress. •During the Congress, WEC Montreal 2010’s website home page will feature a hyperlink to inviting visitors to watch comments from the Congress speakers and partners on this new portal. Please note that the videos will not be posted on the WEC Montreal 2010 website. •As requested by WEC Montreal 2010, Parta Dialogue has agreed to ensure a vigilant watch for the Congress duration, making sure that no profanity, unsubstantiated comments or unprofessional harassment against a corporate member of the local, national or international energy community would be published on the portal. Important note : the Congress role and responsibility is merely to be an intermediary between and energy stakeholders. Any comment or point of view expressed on by one of the Congress participant and/or partner does not in any way represent the views of Congress organizers nor of the World Energy Council.
