MTA Role and Responsibilities <ul><li>Key Role - Plan, Program and Implement regional projects that support a sustainable transportation system </li></ul><ul><li>Identify transportation investments that support the land use component of the SCS </li></ul><ul><li>Provide incentives that encourage these investments </li></ul><ul><li>Work with subregions and local governments to develop strategy options </li></ul><ul><li>Participate and contribute to the regional dialogue </li></ul><ul><li>Work in partnership with SCAG and/or subregions to help develop SCS </li></ul>
