  1. 1.     ALIMENTARIA  PREMIUM  2014  PRESS  RELEASE    La  Antigua  de  Fuentesaúco  in  the  Premium  area  at  Alimentaria  Barcelona  2014  show   Alimentaria  Barcelona  is,  without  any  kind  of  doubts,  the  most  important  food  and  beverages   show  in  Spain,  the  one  that  counts  with  more  exhibitors  and  the  one  that  has  the  largest   international  presence.  For  a  company  with  the  aim  of  developing  an  international  reputation,   this  show  is  the  perfect  environment.   The  repercussion  is  even  bigger  if  the  company  is  present  at  the  Premium  area  of  Alimentaria   Barcelona.   This  is  the  case  of  La  Antigua  de  Fuentesaúco,  which  will  be  present  again,  as  a  Gastronomy   Jewel  together  with  companies  such  as  Joselito,  Anchoas  Sanfilippo,  Ahumados  Domínguez  or   Grupo  Jorge  Ordoñez  for  example.   And  with  all  of  this  in  mind,  we  have  set  a  revolution  of  novelties  to  surprise  the  visitors  and   leave  an  exceptional  memory  in  all  the  people  present  at  this  event.   The  first  novelty  is  very  special.  Two  years  ago,  in  our  first  Premium  edition,  we  presented  a   special  packaging  for  our  cheese  La  Antigua  Summum  2012:  A  limited  edition  of  a  very  special   and  selected  cheese,  with  a  luxury  packaging  that  included  a  book  of  poems  related  with  the   cheese  world  and  with  our  land.   This  year  we  had  to  step  further.  For  this  reason,  with  the  collaboration  of  our  designer  and   friend  Javier  Garduño,  we  are  going  to  present  our  Summum  2014  with  one  idea  in  our  mind,   Illuminate  you!   For  Javier  Garduño,  the  good  packaging  is  the  one  that  remains  in  time,  the  one  that  you  keep   as  a  cult.  Based  in  this  concept,  we  wanted  to  go  further  in  our  design,  and  the  result  is  this   combination  of  passion,  originality  and  exclusiveness.  Using  methacrylate  and  leds,  the   packaging  becomes  a  stunning  lamp,  ideal  to  decorate  a  home  or  an  office.  
  2. 2.     All  of  this  to  dress  our  most  special  cheese,  Summum  2014.  A  cheese  elaborated  only  with  the   best  raw  sheep  milk  and  ripened  under  the  most  perfect  conditions  for  more  than  2  years,   always  watched  by  our  master  cheesemaker.      
  3. 3.     The  second  novelty  that  we  are  going  to  present  is  something  that  we  have  never  done  before,   and  as  we  have  made  it  with  so  much  care  and  love,  we  named  it  with  a  name  that  remind  us   of  our  origins:  The  Saucano   The  Saucano  is  a  16  kg  cheese  elaborated  with  raw  sheep  milk,  with  natural  rind,  ripened  for  6   months,  something  that  is  very  unusual  with  cheeses  of  this  size.   You  will  find  the  Saucano  at  the  entrance  of  our  booth  so  all  the  visitors  can  taste  it,  and  we   will  cut  it  parmesano  reggiano  style.  
  4. 4.   It  is  a  limited  edition  and  for  this  reason,  we  have  thought  a  different  way  to  get  it.  Sponsor   your  Saucano.  It  will  be  produced  by  demand,  and  if  you  want  to,  you  will  be  able  to   participate  in  the  elaboration  of  it,  watching  the  ripening  period  until  the  moment  when  the   cheese  is  perfect.  It  is  a  different  cheese  for  a  different  customer.     And  that  is  not  all!    We  will  bebalso  presenting  our  new  specialties,  our  new  truffle  cheese,   and  our  new  cheese  with  Pedro  Ximenez,  to  complete  our  selection  with  our  other  specialties   like  our  cheese  aged  in  black  pepper  or  our  cheese  aged  in  rosemary.

Besides,  the  visitor  of  Premium  will  be  the  first  to  taste  the  new  cheese  pate  that  we  have   developed.   For  us,  this  is  the  event  of  the  year,  and  with  all  these  novelties,  we  hope  that  it  will  be  very   special  for  everybody  who  attends  the  Premium  area  of  Alimentaria  Barcelona  from  the  31st   March  to  the  3rd  April.   This  year  La  Antigua  de  Fuentesaúco  will  be  more  Gastronomy  Jewel  than  ever!
