  2. 2. Location and Climate<br /><ul><li>Most of the Cheyenne's lived in Montana others live in Oklahoma .
  3. 3. In the Summer it was like a hot desert.
  4. 4. In the Winter it was cold as the Mississipi.</li></li></ul><li>Home Structure and Family Structure<br /><ul><li>Some Cheyenne’s lived in lodges others lived in tepees.
  5. 5. The women were in charge of their homes. The men were out hunting for food. </li></li></ul><li>Food<br /><ul><li>Some of the Cheyenne’s food was buffalo crops and deer.
  6. 6. They hunted and killed buffalo on horse back. They gathered crops like squash , beans , and corn.</li></li></ul><li>Clothing & Tools<br /><ul><li>Their clothes were sometime made of animal skins like bears or buffalo.
  7. 7. Their tools were outstanding knives made from animal ribs shields made of animal hides and arrows.</li></li></ul><li>Religious beliefs & communication<br /><ul><li>The Cheyenne believed in many spirits and gods. The main god was named Heammawiho.
  8. 8. They sometimes spoke musical and Indian language.</li></li></ul><li>Arts & Crafts<br /><ul><li>The Cheyenne’s art are like Egyptian hieroglyphics they did painting on the rocks and other things.
  9. 9. They painted a picture of a warrior that succeeded a battle</li>
