What is the STaR Chart and why do we use it? <ul><li>The Texas Teacher STaR Chart is a technology assessment survey that helps teachers anwser questions about their level of expertise in four areas: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation, Administration and Support, and Infrastructure </li></ul><ul><li>It allows teachers to determine where he or she needs improvement in the technology world to be more beneficial to his or her students’ learning experiences. </li></ul><ul><li>The following are the ratings in which you as a teacher can classify your skill level: Early Tech, Developing Tech, Advanced Tech, or Target Tech. </li></ul><ul><li>We will review each of the four key areas. </li></ul><ul><li>We will review last years data for our campus. </li></ul>
