  2. 2. Services and Resources  Computer Catalog Service=allows students to search and find books and other resources  Online Resources for students to school and home-use  Books=easy children’s, fiction, nonfiction, biography, and reference books  AV Equipment & Materials

Online Resources  We are very fortunate to have many online resources available to us at school and at home.  The database resources require a password and may be obtained by contacting the librarian at the address listed below.  The resources are:   World Book Online   Britannica  Gale Group   Facts on File  EBSCO  TeachingBooks  KLRN  Visual Thesaurus  ProQuest  Visual Dictionary  Ask Kids and new to Baskin library is Brain Pop
  4. 4. Policies Students may borrow :  PreK - 1st Grade = 1 book at a time  2nd – 6th = 2 books at a time  Parents = 5 books at a time One-week check-out period.
  5. 5. Policy-cont. Computer for cataloging and internet research purposes. Students sign up for use at the circulation counter. Free printing for up to 3 sheets with few pictures allowed. After that, the cost is 5 cents per sheet. Librarian must be notified before printing begins.
