概要
• 友人とのつながりは、ネットワーク(グラフ)とみなすことができ
ます。その構造に注目することによって、例えば友人グループ
やその中心人物を見つけたり、友人関係を通じた情報拡散や
感染症伝搬を解明して制御したりすることにつながると考えら
れます。本講義では、社会ネットワーク分析の基本的な概念
について説明するとともに、COVID-19などの感染症に対する
ネットワーク科学のアプローチについても紹介します。

注意
• 今回の話は、大学や大学院での講義の内容を含んでいます。
特に数式の部分を全て理解するのは高校生には難しいと思
います。
• わからない部分はあまり気にしないで、大まかな内容を理解
するようにしてください。
• もっと深く勉強したい人は、”Networks (second edition)” (Mark
Newman, Oxford University Press, 2018)を読んでください。
