Information <ul><li>He spent his summers as a kid at his grandparent’s house in Oslo, Norway. </li></ul><ul><li>In 1939 he joined in the royal air force training squadron in Nairobi, Kenya he fought over the Mediterranean in ww2. </li></ul><ul><li>He wrote his first children’s book in 1943 named The Gremlins. He wrote James and the Giant Peach in 1961. </li></ul><ul><li>His reputation was deathly books with unexpected twists in them. </li></ul>

Facts <ul><li>Born September 13 1916 Llandaff, Wales. </li></ul><ul><li>He got the idea for his first book The Gremlins when he was shot down over Africa in WW2 in 1943. </li></ul><ul><li>He got many awards from his books such as the gremlins and James and the Giant peach. </li></ul><ul><li>The BFG got the award of the #1story teller. </li></ul><ul><li>He died in November 23, 1990 </li></ul>
