  • BJ asked for other examples of how to celebrate: I Give MYSELF' a High-5: Right hand to left hand high five high in air, like a clap but with the choreography/flamboyance of a person-to-person high five.

  • There's now a free iPhone/iPad app for Tiny Habits, so you can get started with this powerful technique immediately. It's called "Mini Steps: End Procrastination, Build Good Habits" ( tinyurl.com/MiniStepsApp ). The app lets you track any number of habits, choosing from a large set of predefined habits or creating your own, and assigning a Tiny Habit to each one. The app supports both task-based Tiny Habits (e.g. write one page) and time-based Tiny Habits (e.g. meditate for 1 minute), and it includes an onscreen timer and alarm for your timed Tiny Habits. It displays an activity ring that shows your daily progress at a glance. An optional, inexpensive upgrade provides many additional features.
