INTRODUCTION<br />Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi.<br />Born on October 28,1955 in Chennai, Tamilnadu ,India.<br />She completed her schooling from Holy Angels School, Madras.<br />B.Sc in chemistry from madras Christian college and subsequently earned a masters degree in finance and marketing from IIM Calcutta.<br />Indra Nooyi also hold a master degree in public and private management from the Yale school of management.<br />A super women<br />Indra Nooyi lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband Raj and their two daughters.<br />

Journey of life<br />After completion of M.B.A Nooyi first job was with Tootal, a British textile company.<br />She joined Johnson and Johnson and ABB in Mumbai. <br />She has offer in GE electronics but she refused and join PepsiCo.<br />Before lending in Pepsi in 1994, she had worked with Boston consultancy group and Motorola.<br />Now she is a CEO of PepsiCo.<br />Nooyi total direct compensation in 2010 was $13.78 million, which included her salary of $1.3 million dollars, annual incentives of $3 million, stock option grants of $3.23 million and performance awards totaling $6.25 million. <br />

Continue……..<br />She is also a member of the Boards of the ‘Lincoln Center for the performing Arts’ in the New York City.<br />She is member of the Boards of various organizations like Motorola and Yale University. <br />She holds a membership in  the Foundation board of the World Economic forum.<br /> International Rescue Committee also her name in its roll. <br />The Board of Trustees of Eisenhower fellowships is an organization where she is a member.<br />

Achivements<br />CEO of PepsiCo ranked no.4 on forbs magazine annual survey of 100 most powerful women in the world.<br />In year 2007, she was awarded as a Padma Bhusan by government of India.<br /> In year 2008 , Nooyi was number one of Americans best leader by U.S. news and world report.<br />Wall street journal and the Forbes magazine have both  named her as one of the most powerful women in business in the world.<br />

Strategic decision<br />Acquiring Tropicana in 1998, <br />Acquisition with Quaker Oats.<br />will be a consumer–centric advertising campaign without any celebrities informed industry sources. ‘Celebrities may come and go but brands are forever.<br /> PepsiCo said it has formed a team called ‘Power of One - Americas Council’, which handle the drinks and snacks in the Americas, as well as a Global Snacks Group, which work on coordinating its international food operations.<br />

CONCLUSION<br /> After Reading About Indra Nooyi I concluded that saw a dream high<br /> and if we have Decided to get something we have to put effort to get it as a women if we want anything we also reach a that position.<br /> Be live a simple life. <br /> In this male dominated world, for a woman to find her own space and leave behind all men and to reach the very top requires a very high degree of tenacity.  <br />If you want to reach the top of a company, you have to start off saying that you have got to work twice as hard as your (male) counterparts.<br />
