  2. 2. We live in a social media world. Therefore, in order to fulfill our mission to reach our local community, our culture, and our world with the Gospel of Christ and our message of racial reconciliation, we must take hold of these tools and use them to their fullest extent.
  3. 3. • Increase Web Traffic to the new Bridgeway Website. • Increase amount of Sunday Morning Online viewers. • Increase amount of online giving to Bridgeway. • Increase awareness about Bridgeways Multicultural Mission, Vision, and Values.

Purpose of Posting: • In Marketing, a general principle is that you must tell someone something at least seven times before it sticks. • By posting 5 posts a day featuring different content of interest, we can reach the entire world and spark interest in the mission, vision, and values of Bridgeway.

  9. 9. What needs to be done? Sunday • Recruit people who may be using social media in the lobby to join the team Throughout the Week • Schedule volunteers for Sunday • Schedule 4 meetings throughout year to checkin, thank and invite new team members too.

During Service • Use hashtag #bccmd • Tweet lyrics to worship songs #worship • Invite people to join us online (bcctv.org) or in person • Tweet sermon notes using hash tag #sermon #bccmd • Sample tweet styles: -RT those who comment about service - portion of song lyrics and appropriate hash tags. - RT request: Please RT: [insert prayer request or church announcement] -Sermon tweets should use *inside voice* and reflect a voice and tone that sounds mature and contemplative. - Question to audience: Aren't you grateful... Have you... Etc. -acknowledgement tweet: We're so thankful for... For their service in... Praise God! -"RT this if..." After Service • In Hoostuite: •Pre-load Tweets about the sermon on Hootsuite. •Frequency: two a day 9am and 6pm •Preload Pictures and Promootions •Frequency: two a day 11am and 2pm •Pre-Load Scriptures •Frequency one a day at 7am • Promote Tuesday Night Prayer •Frequency: Mon. & Tuesday 3 & 5:30 Throughout the week •In Hoostuite or Twitter •Follow Church leaders and RT their post •If an event is happening, share the activity •Respond to people who communicate with us via social media •RT those who use #bccmd or @BridgewayMD if appriopriate
