2. Writing Assignment
Individually: Suppose you are doing a
project on literature circles and you read
these two articles. Synthesize what
you’ve learned from these two articles
into a one- or two-sentence statement.
3. Discourse Analysis
Much like Content/Textual Analysis, but with
spoken words.
Can be analyzed quantitatively or
qualitatively.
Analysis focused on structure of language or
content of language.
How language supports learning; how
identities/culture get enacted in classrooms.
