Writing Your Literature Review
Writing Assignment
 Individually: Suppose you are doing a
project on literature circles and you read
these two articles. Synthesize what
you’ve learned from these two articles
into a one- or two-sentence statement.
Discourse Analysis
 Much like Content/Textual Analysis, but with
spoken words.
 Can be analyzed quantitatively or
qualitatively.
 Analysis focused on structure of language or
content of language.
 How language supports learning; how
identities/culture get enacted in classrooms.
Work Time
 Work, work, work!
