  2. 2. 7 Critical Questions to Ask Every Real Estate Agent: 1) How many years have you been a full-time, licensed real estate agent or broker ? Helpful Hint: Longer is better. 2) Do you have a specific plan to get my home SOLD within 90 days or less? Helpful Hint: Don’t hire anyone that does not have a plan to get your home SOLD! 3) Do you offer GUARANTEED services? If so, what are they? Helpful Hint: You should only hire an agent that is confident enough to GUARANTEE their services.
  3. 3. 7 Critical Questions to ask Every Real Estate Agent (cont.)! 4) Can I cancel my listing at anytime for any reason? Helpful Hint: Any Agent that says “no” to this question is probably not the right person to trust with one of your biggest assets…your home! 5) Do you follow up and through on every showing on my property? Helpful Hint: You should expect constant and diligent follow up especially when your home is shown to potential buyers. Feedback is critical isn’t it?

As I just said, you should always know what is going on with the professional marketing of your home. 7) What makes you different from every other agent out there and why should I hire you to sell my home? Helpful Hint: After you ask this question, listen closely. If an agent cannot tell you what makes them different and why you should hire them, you shouldn’t!
  5. 5. A Few Final Suggestions: 1) Interview more than one agent for the job of selling your home. 2) Ask every agent, every question we just gave you. You should even ask these tough questions of me. 3) Listen closely to each agent’s answers. 4) Select the Agent that answered these questions honestly and gave you the best answers.
