BASIC THINKING

Understanding of technology background is crucial and also their expectations, financial, other resources, their access to the Web, their bandwith limitation and any relevant information related to their preparedness and ability to participate equally and fully in learning experience.

In reality, such comple picture is rarely available, for example for distance learning students have access to high-speed connectivity. Since this access is expanding, an organization might choose to use a system that require high-speed bandwith and also provide to alternative access the system like providing CD-ROM to user not yet served high-speed system. It is important to consider student based on demographics and other factors always affect the timing of such desicion.

 6. 6. BASIC THINKING

The clear identification of the learning outcomes is a program or a training event or any kind that useful in many ways;

Design of assessment system

The degree of prior learning

The measuring of quality offering

In academic fields, Having comprehensive and clearly stated learning outcomes, and curriculum and associated teaching approaches that are designed to meet the outcomes , makes the task of building an ideal online learning system much easier.

Otherwise in professional field, knowledge, skill and attributes expected of successfull completer is fairly routine and a curriculum and associated teaching and learning system can be advised & cross reference.

 8. 8. OVERALL STRUCTURE and ORGANIZATION
 9. 9. THE COMPONENTS OF AN ONLINE LEARNING SYSTEM

The development of courseware

The learning management system

Library and digital resources

Learner Services

Interface with the student information system

The users’ portal

Quality assessment

 10. 10. CHANGE MANAGEMENT

When it comes to changes, it is a complicated situation. Where any changes can have wide impact on number of aspects of the system.Because online learning technology keep developing quickly and often as unexpectedly, as do the curriculum, student expectations and connectivity

 11. 11. CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Read more about:

Leadership

Scouting reports

Governance

Communications

Pilot projects and evaluation

Resources for changes
