Humble beginnings??<br />How they got started<br />1990’s <br />Founded in Dallas, Texas 1981 by Trammell Crow<br />Following growth merging led Wyndham to rapid expansion<br />Key mergers that led to expansion included REIT, Patriot American Hospitality (PAH)<br />Acquired multiple hotel portfolios and renamed them to Wyndham<br />Following Rapid growth, in 1999 they were faced with the inability to continue growth on their own <br />Agreed to $1 billion restructuring <br />
  3. 3. Where wyndham is Today…<br /><ul><li>One of the Worlds largest Hospitality companies with over 20 brands and operations in over 100 countries
  4. 4. Over half-million rooms worldwide, including hotel rooms; vacation condos, villas, cottages, bungalows, and campgrounds; city apartments; fractional private residences; and boats

Total Assets of $10.4 Billion</li></li></ul><li>Wyndham Worldwide Hotel branch's<br />AmeriHost- features indoor pools and consistent amenities, such as a deluxe continental breakfast, comparable quality rooms, and friendly service<br />Days Inn- Motel chain<br />Days Hotel - the full-service variant found in high-traffic and large cities.<br />Days Suites - an all-suites variant; may be either full or limited-service.<br />Days Lodge- a rare variant found formerly in resort and high-traffic locations; now discontinued.<br />

Keeping Themselves together…<br />Wyndham Franchisee Association- formed an independent association to present their concerns and grievances to Wyndham Worldwide<br />Wyndham felt the effects hard after 9/11, as the industry suffered Wyndham resorted to selling off some hotels and halting growth efforts<br />
