  1. 1. EXPORTING AND IMPORTING A COMPLETE SPACE 1. You have created a space with a number of pages and you wish to export it elsewhere. If you set the Scope on default before exporting a space it can be put back into any type of space. ( If you scope a page to current page then export it is tied to that page) 2. Note that you are best to create your space in the area that you are likely to be importing it to (eg. Design space to be imported into some else’s Design space area) The reason is that even though it will import okay, the banner at the top of the newly designed space goes with it. So if you were to import it into the Collaborative space area you would still see a Design space banner which might be confusing! 3. You are in the space you want to export. Go down to ACTIONS – Select MANAGE PAGES
  2. 2. 4. Leave all the settings as they are and you can tick Permissions to maintain those too if you wish. Click the orange EXPORT button in the bottom left of the screen. If you are using Firefox, the program will automatically save your .lar file to Documents/Download folder. Just click OK
  3. 3. You can see the name the file has saved as above.
  4. 4. IMPORTING THE SAVED FILE1. Create a new space and save it2. Go to Spaces I own3. You will see your new space listed – to the right of the name you will notice an ACTION button From the ACTION button – select MANAGE PAGES
  5. 5. Select IMPORT/EXPORT – then Select IMPORTThen browse to the file you want (In Documents/Downloads) Select it and click OPENClick IMPORT at the bottomYou will get confirmation of success. Then click RETURN TO FULL PAGE – select andopen the newly pasted space from your list.
