  1. 1. Discover the Wonders of Pragueby Howard Shen | on August 14, 2012Prague is a capital city of Czech republic, considered the biggest in the state. The city itself is awonderful sight; how much more are its tourist attractions.First is the Charles Bridge. The full name of the bridge is Karluvmost Charles Bridge, maderenowned in the King Charles V rule. It is a tourist magnet, considering the 30 baroque inspiredstatues of religious figures which are made uniquely. There are also many paintings by differentartists. To enjoy the scenic 520 meter bridge, visit it in the afternoon.

Second is the La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise, a restaurant that offers traditional Czechdishes such as smoked beef tongue, chicken hearts, homemade noodles, prague ham soup andmany other Bohemian cuisine. It has a seven entertainment program that makes guest stay andfeel a home atmosphere.
  3. 3. Third is the Bunkr Parukarka, a small and exclusive club which was formerly in a bunker whrenuclear weapons are made, thus the term Bunkr Parukarka. Aside from its historical background,it is a great tourist destination because of its energetic atmosphere with DJs rocking the dancefloor and musicians to set the mood. The drinks served are one feature of the club. It is not only aclub because of the climbing arena for sporty persons.The U Medvidku Beer Hall and Restaurant is the place to be if you want to enjoy the popularBeer X 33, which is a black bitter beer fermentation inside a wooden drum for half a year. Itsbeer alcohol content is 11.8 %.
  4. 4. The Museum of Communism used to be a creepy place for Czech Republic locals because thisis where there were shooting and arresting in the communist reign. This museum features theevents in the past via photo galleries and screening room.Zizkov district is an entertainment district with 300 bars and places of accommodations.Petrin Hill is another tourist spot in Prague endowed with green parks, Church of St. Michaelwhich is a wooden structure in the 18th century and the mini Eiffel Tower.
  5. 5. David Cerny’s Public Sculptures are strange and controversial statues in the park. There are 10crawling baby statues, two statues of men urinating and two Brownnosers.
  6. 6. The Prague Castle is one of the highlights in Prague. It is the biggest ancient castle around theglobe. All of its features are stunning- the parks, the church and the palace itself. You can alsofind here the Vitus Cathedral in Nouveau style with a wooden cross photograph and glasswindows.And lastly we have the Old Town Square, another must see destination in Prague. Prague hasnow a touch of foreign buildings but there are still 10 th century buildings in the Old TownSquare. Examples of those buildings are Baroque St. Nicholas Church, Gothic Tyn Cathedral andRococo Kinsky Palace.
