  • To show you what that means, I’m going to tell you a story and share a recipe with you. I am NOT a professionally trained chef. But please, do try this at home. Cooking is an amazing creative outlet.
  • So to help share my flavor with you, I would like to tell you a story about what makes me unique.

  • Flavors have changed the world now it’s time to spice up your business with these 3.5 things. 1 -Finding your own flavor, 2 - customizing your recipe, and 3 - serving it up to the world. The .5 dash at the end is a way to add flavor to others. So lets get cooking!
  • Finding your flavor is all about knowing who you really are and what makes you dramatically different. That’s it. Tell your story! We just saw earlier on how everyone has a unique creative way in approaching life and business.
  • The first step in finding your own flavor and what helps you stand out from the competition is to BE Real, It’s Worth Way More than fake.

  • Takeaway: Take a personality assessment Marcus Buckingham has a great one - read StandOut or go to standout.tmbc.com or take DiSC, Meyers Briggs, etc. And not to Pigeon hole yourself but to find out what makes you different and how to leverage those strengths. Be real on your social accounts - you are worth more!!!!!
  • 2nd step to finding your flavor is to actually look for it. That usually means learning new things, traveling, stepping outside of your day to day routine to see something new in yourself. Ask others to tell you what you are good at. Never stop learning - JoeCastillo at the age of 60 found a new flavor.

  • product driven marketing - Your Flavor is the Star of the Dish and it should effect everything else.
  • If your flavor is to teach people how to do all the new dances when they come out, your business card should be a dance step, you should have cutouts that you tape to the floor so people can learn the electric slide, if you are the only fire juggling DJ your cards should have burnt corners. Tell your story, share your flavor in everything that you do!
