  2. 2. The Jiaozhou Bay bridge took four years to build, and connects the eastern port city of Qingdao to Huang Dao.
  3. 3. The Jiaozhou Bay bridge is 26.4 miles long and links China's eastern port city of Qingdao to the offshore island Huangdao.
  4. 4. The Jiaozhou Bay bridge is 110ft wide, supported by 5,000 pillars and was built at a cost of one billion pounds (GBP).
  5. 5. The three-way QingDao bridge actually comprises two bridges running side by side.
  6. 6. It’s an engineering marvel, and the brand new, smooth tarmac is sooo inviting….!
  7. 7. The Jiaozhou Bay bridge is about 3miles longer than the current longest bridge: the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, Louisiana.
