Cody, Edward. "Chinese Official Decries Attempts to Link Darfur, Olympics." Washington Post 19 May 2007: n. pag. The Washington Post. Web. 9
Nov. 2010. <http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/ content/article/2007/05/18/AR2007051800513.html>. This article showed the
campaign of the Beijing Olympics for the genocide in Darfur. I evaluated this resource by using "Google" to search the author and "The
Washington Post." I found that these two are reliable sources, and "The Washington Post" is a prestigious newspaper that contains superb
information. This information allowed me to see the attempted solutions of the Beijing Olympics to help the people of Sudan. It also
showed me the efforts to show the world that the issue in Sudan exists through the campaign of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
"Dinka." Junior Worldmark Encyclopedia of World Cultures. Ed. Susan Bevan Gall and Timothy L. Gall. Detroit, 1999. 181-84 . Gale Virtual

CX3435900462&v=2.1&u=cant48040&it=r&p=GVRL&sw=w>. This resource talks about the lifestyle and culture of the Dinkan tribe of
Southern Sudan. It also discusses a brief history of the Sudanese civil war and the effects of it on the Dinkan people. I evaluated this
resource by researching the history of this article and making sure the key aspects of it were true. In addition, I researched the authors and
found that they have written several other books that pertain to this issue. This research allowed me to see how the Dinkan people live
and what kind of society they have. As a result, this allowed me to be able to make a research paper and presentation full of valuable
information.
"George Clooney." Wikipedia. N.p., n.d. Web. 9 Nov. 2010. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ George_Clooney>. This resource talked about the life
and successes of the actor and humanitarian advocate, George Clooney. I evaluated this information by searching key words in "Google" to
make sure the information was reliable and trustworthy. Since "Wikipedia" articles mostly do not have authors, I could not evaluate the
information in that way. This information helped me in my research project because it had information about George Clooney's role in the
Darfur Genocide. It showed how he has helped and in what ways he is now involved in this issue.
Lynch, Colum, and Jim VandeHei. "Bush Calls for More Muscle in Darfur." Washington Post 18 Feb. 2006: n. pag. The Washington Post. Web. 9
Nov. 2010. <http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/ content/article/2006/02/17/AR2006021701935.html>. This resource talked about
the efforts that the Bush Administration took in Darfur. I evaluated this resource by looking up the key parts of the information in "Yahoo".
I concluded that this resource was valuable and credible, because many other resources had the same key information. This website
allowed me to see the steps that Bush was taking in order to try to solve the problem of genocide in Sudan. It also allowed me to
understand the attempted solutions of this issue in greater depth.
Nhial, Abraham, and DiAnn Mills. Lost Boy No More. Nashville: Broadman & Holman , 2004. Print. This book is a memoir of the actual events that
happened at the beginning of the Sudanese civil war and genocide. To evaluate this information, I looked up these authors to make sure
not only that they existed, but that they were also who they stated they were. I found that their information was true, and this book is a
credible source of information. This book showed me the events and events of the genocide. It also showed me the history of Sudan and
the differences of the regions of Sudan that are at war. As a result, I learned a lot of information by reading this book that helped me
understand the issue of genocide better.
