Each 4 mg Emeset Tablet for oral administration contains Ondansetron HCl Dihydrate equivalent to 4 mg of Ondansetron. Generic Zofran Tablets Recommended Adult Dosage Emetogenic Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy: The recommended oral dose is 8 mg one to two hours before treatment, followed by 8 mg orally 12 hours later. Generic Zofran Tablets Side Effects of Generic Zofran Tablets Disturbance in heart rhythm (sometimes causing sudden loss of consciousness) Low blood pressure Fits or convulsions Swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, mouth or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing Skin rash, skin lumps or hives Problems with muscles or movement These are all serious side effects.   13. 13. Generic Zofran Tablets Overdosage A specific antidote for Ondansetron Hydrochloride overdose is not available. Patients should be managed with appropriate supportive therapy.
