Indications
Flutivate Cream (Generic Cutivate) is a
medium potency topical corticosteroid
for the relief of the inflammatory and
pruritic (Itching) manifestations of skin
diseases in adult patients.
This cream is prescribed by a doctor to
treat an inflamed skin condition such as
eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis.

Active Ingredient
The active ingredient present in
Flutivate cream (Generic Cutivate) is
Fluticasone Propionate.
Each gram of Flutivate cream,
0.05% contains 0.5 mg of
Fluticasone Propionate.
It is available in tubes of 20 grams.

Recommended Adult Dosage
A small amount of Generic
Cutivate Cream (Flutivate Cream)
should be applied thinly and evenly
with gentle rubbing to the affected
and surrounding skin areas twice
daily, in the morning and evening.

Missed Dose
If you forget an application, apply
some ointment as soon as you
remember.
However, if you remember when it is
almost time for your next dose, take
only your usual dose at that time.

Contraindications
Generic Cutivate Cream (Flutivate Cream)
is contraindicated in the following cases:
➔Known hypersensitivity to Fluticasone
Propionate or any inactive ingredients of this
medication.
➔Contraindicated in the treatment of rosacea, acne
vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, primary cutaneous
viral infections (i.e., herpes simplex, chickenpox),
perianal and genital pruritus, primarily infected skin
lesions caused by infection with fungi or bacteria
and dermatoses in children, including dermatitis
and diaper rash.

Storage Instructions
Generic Cutivate Cream
(Fluticasone Propionate Cream)
may be stored in a cool
dry place (between 2°C to 30°C).
Do not store in the bathroom or
near a sink. Do not freeze. Keep
away from children.

Side Effects of Generic Cutivate
The common side effects of Generic Cutivate
(Flutivate cream) are pruritus, dryness,
numbness of fingers, and burning.
Other local adverse effects were transient
burning, transient urticaria, erythematous
rash, dusky erythema and telangiectasia.
