2. Paragraph One The World Wide Web has progressed from simply a place of passive viewing of information provided to a person to a now collaborative and ever changing world of information. I will be providing information about Web 2.0 tools and applications, collaborative technologies, emerging technologies, and social media.
3. Paragraph Two Web 2.0 tools and applications use interactive information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design, and collaboration to create a user-friendly web experience. Some of the things found on Web 2.0 are web-based communities, hosted services, web applications, social networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies. Some of the new applications Web 2.0 offers are Monyta, Clientshow, TopSite, Micello, Flook, Siri, and many more. A Web 2.0 site allows its users to interact with each other and change website content, as opposed to the old way of only viewing web information without any input.
4. Paragraph Three Collaborative Technologies are a new ways to interact with each other. They help you too be cohesive as a company of many or a situation with few people, this helps people work together to accomplish a common goal. Skype is a way of collaborating that I know about first hand, Skype keeps me up to date with all the things I need to know with practically face to face interaction without having to be anywhere near one another. Collaborative technologies help people work for that one goal without the face to face interaction many use now; collaborative technologies will soon be the main way of interaction from company member to boss or simply a friend to friend conversation.
5. Paragraph Four Emerging Technologies are what keep people even more efficient, knowledgeable, entertained, and connected. For the first time, nanotechnology researchers in France have developed a hybrid nano-particle-organic transistor that can mimic the main functionalities of a synapse, which could lead to a new generation of neuro-inspired computers, capable of responding in a manner similar to the nervous system. Emerging Technologies is what is going to lead to something such as flying cars and teleporting form place to place, things we only would have imagined as a small child.
6. Paragraph Five Social Media is media designed to be used though social interaction. There is said to be three components to social media: first; concept, second; media, and third; social interface. Social media is used for concepts, slogans, and statement. Social media is also used electronically. Ads can be created to use for social media via the web, billboards, commercials, and many others.
7. Paragraph Six Web 2.0 tools and applications, collaborative technologies, emerging technologies, and social media are all things used to work together, share information, and learning new information. You can use these things to make your life much easier and much more interesting.
