Queen Baton <ul><li>Queen Baton will reach Delhi September 30, 2010. It will relay in all part of the city before reaching the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Stadium for Opening Ceremony. </li></ul>
Games Lanes Delhi Traffic Police has reserved a length of 200 km of roads in the city for CWG officials and athletes. The lanes will be reserved for a span of 12 hrs in a day.

Delhi Metro connecting games venues <ul><li>Three Commonwealth Games venues, i.e., the Games Village, the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium and Delhi University, will have direct access to Metro stations. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Games Village, where most athletes will reside, is adjacent to the Akshardham Metro station on the Indraprastha – New Ashok Nagar line. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The JLN Stadium, where the opening and closing ceremonies are to be held, can be accessed directly from the JLN Stadium Metro station or from the Jangpura station which is half-a-kilometre from it. Both these stations are part of the Central Secretariat – Badarpur line. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The Delhi University, which will host the rugby events, already has its own Metro station, Vishwavidyalaya. </li></ul></ul>Metro connects 10 out of 11 Commonwealth games venues and providing easy access to spectators

Delhi Transport Corporation <ul><li>DTC is public company, which operates buses in Delhi. </li></ul><ul><li>It is operating a fleet of more than 4,000 low floor buses, of which 600 are engaged for CWG officials and athletes. </li></ul>
Millennium Depot – CWG Officials & Athletes <ul><li>The new Depot is comprehensive in all respects with parking space for around 1000 buses, five workshop-cum-bus scanning centres, seven dormitories for various DTC officers and night stay for 500 persons. </li></ul><ul><li>It has 8 washing pits, 4 underground tanks for washing buses, 2 CNG filling stations, 2 more underground tanks for water supply and fire reserve, 11 KV electric sub-station, baggage scanning centre to be maintained by Delhi Police, 16 high mast lighting, fire-fighting system and ample illumination with energy efficient lamps. </li></ul>The Millennium Depot is at Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) Bus Parking and Logistic Centre, near Millennium Park.
Millennium Depot – CWG Officials & Athletes <ul><li>DTC has engaged a special bus fleet consisting of more than 600 CNG-fuelled Low Floor AC buses. </li></ul><ul><li>The OC and DTC have also identified various focal points from where the buses will pick and drop passengers. The entire Delhi has been divided into 5 zones -- 'East', 'West and South West', 'North', 'South and South East' and 'West and North West'. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The zones will have 'Hub Points' like Anand Vihar ISBT, Dhaula Kuan or RK Puram, ISBT (Kashmere Gate), Nehru Place Terminal and Shivaji Stadium which will serve various 'Focal Points'. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>The DTC Focal Point Bus Service would also be integrated with Delhi Metro wherein the buses would transport passengers up to Metro stations for venues that have Metro connectivity. </li></ul>
