  3. 4. * Saraswathi Devi is the Goddess of Education * The famous temple of Saraswathi Devi is located at Basara * Every child can go there and do different type of pooja (worship through prayers and spiritual rituals) for their education in their future. GODDESS SARASWATHI
  4. 6. <ul><li>* Lord Sai Baba is popular in both the Hindu and the Muslim communities. </li></ul><ul><li>His famous temple is located at Shiridi. </li></ul><ul><li>He is also known as Shirdi Sai Baba. </li></ul>LORD SAI BABA
  5. 8. * Mahankali is a powerful Goddess * She has many sisters * They are * Goddess Ellamma * Goddess Muthyalamma * Goddess Konda Pochama * Goddess Kanaka Durga *We celebrate a festival called Mahankali Jatara (Bonalu), when we give animal sacrifices to Goddess Mahankali GODDESS MAHANKALI
  6. 10. * There are many types of snake gods. * In India, the people use to pray to the Snakes. * The people offer milk and eggs to Snakes *The people use to play the flute to catch the Snakes * The most powerful Goddess Snake is Goddess Swetha Naga THE SERPENT GODDESS
  7. 12. LORD SHIVA * Lord Shiva is a very powerful God * Goddess Parvathi is the wife of Lord Shiva * They have two sons and one daughter * God Ganesh * God Iyappa * Goddess Ellamma * God Shiva has a third eye. If he is angry he will open the third eye and at that time the World will collapse.
