Mission Services June 2014 The Summer of Opportunity

  1. 1.[6/17/14, 11:49:28 AM] Having trouble viewing this email?Click here The Summer  of Opportunity  is Upon Us! Bringing the World of Missions to You! June 16, 2014 Greetings! The Summer of Opportunity is Upon Us!  Each year the Summer season is one of the most demanding times of the year for Mission Services both financially and physically.  I am asking for you to specifically pray for us this year!  We have more travel than ever planned, and we believe God is opening even greater doors of opportunity for us to serve world missions.  As we have written over the past months, God has blessed the missions network far beyond our dreams and plans.  Entering this summer, we now have an opportunity for this service to move forward in a truly significant way.  During just the Spring months of 2014, the "network traffic" increased by an additional 33% over its already impressive track record.  It is quite normal for a service like ours to experience a "spike" in traffic for one month, then have the next month settle back to a level slightly above what had been normal.  From the beginning of May and into June, the network traffic has jumped to another level and maintained it.  Individuals from more nations than ever before are watching more videos about God's word and missions, listening to more training information on world evangelism,  and reading more news and inspirational stories about God's Kingdom.  As we travel to the North American Christian Convention (visit us at booth 1439), churches and missions conferences, we believe God is preparing to use the missions network in ways that we have not dreamed or imagined.  Believe me,
  2. 2.[6/17/14, 11:49:28 AM] we have already dreamed big dreams.  We recently introduced new programming, "Pray for the Nations!" This is a weekly call for individuals and congregations to unite to pray for one nation of the world each week. Prayer is the front lines of world missions, and we believe that thousands of congregations with millions of individuals uniting to pray to the Almighty for the same nation each week will bear great fruit.  We also ask for everyone to unite in prayer for us.  Pray for us as we dream and prepare for the future that we will always follow God's purpose.  Pray for the non- Christians that are following us on Twitter and connecting with the various programming choices we have on the missions network. All of the missionaries and mission works that are represented have information that God can use to change hearts and shape eternities in freedom and grace. We know people from more than 100 nations and many religions are watching, reading, and listening each month! Pray for these seeds to be planted and watered. Pray for God to raise up believers near these seekers to share Jesus in a personal way.  God is truly able to use our efforts in ways that are beyond our imagination and produce results once thought impossible! Pray for more people to connect with God's Truth and with the world of missions through our web site, app for Apple & Android, our Twitter feed & Facebook page, and all of the printed material we send. Pray for our current appeal letter bearing the same theme as this eNews.  Summer is always a time of great expense and lower income for Mission Services. Pray for God to supply all that is needed to take advantage of the doors open before us, and pray for us to be wise and faithful stewards of your trust and His blessing. Thank you for being a supporter of world missions and Mission Services. It is exciting and humbling to be allowed to "Bring the World of Missions to You" on a daily basis.      Praying for more to be His,            Reggie Hundley, Executive Director Mission Services Association, Inc. the missions network  Our mission is to glorify God by partnering with... missionaries & ministries for effective communication with their supporters  & congregations for the fulfillment of the Great Commission 865-525-7010
