You might try to convince yourself that it isjust a temporary setback that you will beable to resolve. Unfortunately, if yourpartner has broken off the relationshipthen it might be too late to resolve anyproblems that have been building up overtime.
Stage Three: Next you might begin toexperience some depression. Feelingdepressed is a completely normal reactionfollowing a relationship break up. No-oneenjoys ending a relationship and even if youare the partner that chose to end therelationship you will still experience sadnessat the end of this major stage of your life. Itis best to try and move on and keep yourselfbusy so you dont spend all your timethinking about it.
Stage Four: The last stage of emotionsfollowing a break up is acceptance. Although itcan take time to reach this stage, once youaccept that the relationship is over then youcan move on with your life. Be happy that youwere able to experience a loving relationshipfor a short time and put the relationship andthe break up down to experience.
This whole experience will make you strongerand help you grow into the person you aretoday. Once you have accepted that therelationship is over then you can move on andbe open to meeting someone new.
