The student is expected to: (A) connect experiences and ideas with those of others through speaking and listening (K-3); and (B) compare language and oral traditions (family stories) that reflect customs, regions, and cultures (K-3). • (3) History. The student understands how various sources provide information about the past. The student is expected to: (A) name several sources of information about a given period or event; and (B) compare various interpretations of the same time period using evidence such as photographs and interviews.
