Extended English & Spanish Language Opportunities for Book Publishers

Download to read offline

Book publishers now have access to a far greater English-language market for their ebooks. English speakers abroad can now purchase ebooks through the extensive international networks of Amazon, Apple iBooks and Kobo, as well as etailers in their own countries.
The market includes native English-language speakers in non-English countries. It also includes the huge market of speakers of English as a second language and the even larger market of students of the English language (including China and India).
This presentation also considers the Spanish-language market opportunities for publishers. There are over 470 million native Spanish speakers. Few realize that the Hispanic market extends to some 50 million people living in the U.S.
