Your Role <ul><li>Serve as a resource </li></ul><ul><li>Teach sheep and goat subject matter to youth and volunteers </li></ul><ul><li>Provide support to members and leaders </li></ul><ul><li>Provide leadership to worthwhile learning opportunities for youth and volunteers </li></ul><ul><li>Lead by example </li></ul>

Responsibilities <ul><li>Stress the importance of developing a well rounded project </li></ul><ul><li>Discuss the importance of keeping records </li></ul><ul><li>Inform members of learning and personal development opportunities </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate meetings for members and parents </li></ul><ul><li>Identify resources for 4-Hers and parents to use </li></ul>

The First Step <ul><li>Obtain a list of names, addresses, and telephone numbers of 4-H members enrolled in the project </li></ul><ul><li>Spend time familiarizing yourself with project literature and learn about project activities and opportunities </li></ul><ul><li>Secure project training materials </li></ul><ul><li>Know the expectations for project completion </li></ul>
