    Per platform percentage differs greatly based on for example country, age group, product type etc. so there's no absolute truth. Usually mobile/tablet share is overall still pretty small (2-10%), but is growing rapidly.

    One recent study estimates that roughly 5% of the customers in Nordic countries used mobile for buying in 2012, but 11% are intending to buy with mobile in 2013. Users are early adapters. They belong to age group 18-49.

    It is good to note that if you do not have an excellent user experience, you wont't use mobile for buying. E-commerce sites need to evolve otherwise the share won't grow. ;)

  • Out of curiosity: what is the average spend on e-commerce per platform (PC, tablet, mobile)?
    Personally (but I'm old fashion...), I have bought for thousands of € of goods on e-commerce for given goods, using PC. On mobile, I am yet to get beyond monthly subscription fee, usually 9.99€ cap.
