Why use End-User License Agreement (EULA)

  5. 5. When someone installs, downloads, or uses a copy of the software application on their computer or mobile device, they are, in essence, making a copy of the copyrighted software. </>
  6. 6. </> The EULA agreement will inform the users on the limits and liabilities that come along with personally using the piece of copyrighted software.

  8. 8. The EULA agreement gives users the right to use the software. This agreement only covers issues that address the licensing of the software.

  11. 11. A License Granting clause. EULA agreements must cover license granting. Here’s an example of a clause where the license granted is “revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited…”
  12. 12. A Restrictions on Use clause. Users can use the app in both legal and illegal ways. A clause on license restrictions is another key part of an EULA agreement.
  13. 13. A Termination of Licensing clause. The software developer can retain rights to terminate the license granted to the user in the case of violations.
