1. How effective is the combination of your main product and
ancillary tasks?
The effectiveness of the combination of my trailer with my two ancillary tasks,
(Magazine Cover and Movie Poster) is very well done. The killer from the trailer
is wearing the same clothes she had on in the magazine cover; a grey hoody.
The make-up used for the killer is also the same; there is blood over the face of
the killer and also the death look make-up is the same. In the horror poster I
have a picture of a house this house is shown in the trailer as it is a vital
location in the plot. The font I used on ancillary tasks and the trailer was the
same; rough edges and red for the connotation of blood. On the horror poster
there are film credits, this is also at the end of the trailer. The production
company logo (Dimension Films) is seen on the horror poster and at the
beginning of the horror trailer. Of course my magazine cover and horror poster
had to look like they were for a horror genre and this is obvious in the trailer,
all three of these things are vital to have as the promote the movie.It is crucial
that my ancillary tasks and movie poster had comparisons as they are both
aimed at my target audience (15-30).
