•real-time sharing and collaboration of ideas, knowledge,
resources, content, help & feedback

it’s a learning moment that generates deeper bonds
with the students

themselves (applies more to an online course)

opinion about a favorite book, song, TV program,
movie, Web site... or topic discussed in class
