APIs for DevOps Teams, Creating Open Culture Bubbles Breakout D Getting technology choices right is less than half the battle, organisational change and technology delivery can be far more disruptive and difficult to deliver. Jeremy is a passionate believer in being default to open, whether that applies to code or culture. In his presentation Jeremy discusses how high performing teams are the result of the context they operate in and by setting up the right open structures and environment you will accelerate you app development and DevOps experience. So the big question is: Can you bring the Open Organisation to your DevOps team and create APIs with the rest of the organisation?

  9. A great space is open and customisable. It can change with the needs of the team. Add moveable walls, Bring TVs on Wheels and Radiate all the things With information on show, people can’t avoid it. No searching in a tool to dig out the latest build stat; it’s there infront of you and for all to see. Access to Product owner is easy; he’s there on the table beside you. Volvo were able to practice Continuous Delivery

  14. Build a cross functional team by rotating the roles; not everyone wants to do the grunt work all the time so it’s important to share the responsibility.   17. Awesome teams invite new team members in, they are not forced into accepting new people who could shift or disrupt their dynamic

  21. Silly games, caption competition, jokes and fun can increase team morale and spirit. Gustaf and his hatred of JavaScript came to the fore in the Caption Competition Allow sufficient time to the team to gel Higher performing teams are happier at their jobs
