Those times are gonemost people enjoy the time they spend team building, and look forwardto it. The games and activities meant to bond and inform the staff arealso made to be exciting and fun, some examples of fun and enjoyableteam building activities for the workplace are listed below.Team building activities for the workplace:SHERPA WALK: Industrial vs. Postindustrial leadership, empowerment(good transition activity from one location to another) assemble thegroup in a single line and then blindfold them. Each person holds ontothe shoulder of the person in front of him/her. The leader is notblindfolded. He/she will lead the group from one place to another. Thefacilitator may choose to limit talking or allow talking only for safetycommands. The leader works to navigate the surroundings and keephis/her group safe. At different points, the leader may change; theformer leader will now join the rest of the group and be led.Processing Questions:How did it feel being led by only one person?How trusting were you of the person in front of you? Brought To You By http://teambuildingactivitieshq.comWhy did so many individuals simply follow the person in front of them?How many times in our houses, do we just follow our leaders (i.e.,President, RA/CA, PeerBLIND NUMERICAL ORDER: Communication and listening.a) There is no talkingb) You must keep your blindfolds on at all timesc) Each of you will have a number whispered into you eard) The goal is for the group to arrange itself in numerical order withoutspeaking and without the useof sight. Blindfold all the participants. Whisper a number to each ofthem (do not allow other participants to hear). The number should beRANDOM (not just 1-12, etc.). For a few participant, use negativenumbers, “0”, really high numbers, etc. After whispering the number,move the participant to a random location. Once every participant hasa number, they should begin. Make sure all participants are safethroughout the exercise. Some participants can be restricted even moreby not allowing them to use their right arm, etc.Processing Questions:What was the most difficult aspect of this exercise?Did you have a sense of working together? Each participant reads his/her statements, and the othermembers try to guess which one is false.Each one of these games are great for building team spirit, buildingrelationships and helping people find out what they are great at.
